Trust takes a lifetime to build and a moment to lose. We set higher standards for ourselves than the law requires, because the end result is always better for our communities. We engage external experts to review our performance in key areas. Transparency leads to trust, and trust builds a better community.
Sundale is governed by a Board elected by its members. We operate under a Constitution, and our Board acts in accordance with contemporary Corporate Governance Principles.
The organisation operationally functions under a Corporate Governance Model wherein the Board is responsible for establishing the strategic direction and policy framework for the organisation. Management are then delegated the tasks of implementing and reporting. The Board maintains its stewardship of the organisation, its assets and responsibilities.
Sundale engages independent external auditors to undertake audits of its books of account. An annual report is produced outlining the activities and focus of the organisation both retrospectively and prospectively. This ensures all interested parties are kept informed and engaged. A fundamental principle of transparency has been established by the Sundale Board and is absolutely followed. Under our corporate structure as a Public Company Limited by Guarantee, such reporting is aimed at transparency by keeping all stakeholders and communities informed on the status of all Sundale's operations. Annual Reports can be viewed in our Publications Section.
