WeRock! - Long Day Care

The childcare centre is the first in Australia to be located on the grounds of an aged care facility - Aloaka Lodge - in Taylor Street, Kilcoy. At We Rock! we embrace the concept of an integrated community and believe the children gain many benefits from socialising with elders. We have a number of children in the centre who have the opportunity to interact with their grandparents and even some great grandparents within the facility! This integration also provides the opportunity for children to socialise and play games with surrogate grandparents in a safe and supervised environment. Children from the OSCH program are also given the opportunity to spend time with the elders.
