Against a backdrop of the spectacular Blackall Range, the Village covers seven hectares of landscaped native planting and has become a haven for native birds with over 100 species identified in the local area. The charming village of Palmwoods is a short fifteen minute walk and offers a range of banking, shopping and medical facilities as well as cafés and restaurants. The Palmwoods railway station offers direct access to Brisbane. The local bus company provides a convenient “door to door” service to the commercial centre of Nambour for more comprehensive shopping. Palmwoods Garden Village has modern and spacious two bedroom duplex units as well as three bedroom stand alone and duplex units. The three bedroom units feature ensuites and walk in robes. All units have private patios and lock up garages. The focal point of the Village is our modern, fully equipped Clubhouse. A hive of activity, it hosts socials, dinners, concerts, theatre and sporting activities. A strong sense of community is enjoyed by our residents, many of whom are actively involved in creating this stimulating environment. The Residents’ Social Club runs a full program with a variety of activities including bowls, mahjong, billiards and bingo. Exercise classes and tai chi are also available or you might prefer to make use of our extensive library, enjoy the heated swimming pool and BBQ area or our new workshop.
