Volunteering

Sundale is always looking for people with compassion and understanding, looking to make a difference to our community through their time, talents and contribution. Within Sundale, volunteers are valued and involved in the decisions that shape our organisation and service to older Australians. We also believe that volunteering is a dedication of service that we support through ongoing education opportunities, and we work to that end.

We take our social and community responsibility to heart, and we're always on the lookout for people who feel the same way.

Sundale was a pioneer in establishing the Eden Alternative in Australia, and was indeed the first organisation to become a registered Eden in Oz facility in Queensland. The Eden philosophy is one that places the elder as ouur focus, and concentrates on enhancing their life experience and quality of life in any way that we can.

Sundale is an expanding organisation, and we need expertise across a wide variety of knowledge areas to deliver the care that we do. In many cases our volunteers come to us with the knowledge and experience, and in many others, they come with the heart and committment to learn. Either way, together we can make a real difference in the lives of our elders, to whom our society owes so much.

If you wish to make a real positive difference, and contribute to our scoiety in a meaningful way, whilst at the same time learn lifelong skills, then consider joining our team.
