Industry update
Reforms to in-home care
Changes to in-home care will arrive from November 2025. Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care will be replaced by the new Support at Home program.
These changes have been designed to keep older people in Australia living in their homes longer through a more efficient, responsive and sustainable system.
